How to read it: right of centre, a sector has been doing better than NEPSE; above centre, that relative trend is picking up. Sectors tend to travel clockwise, from improving to leading to weakening to lagging, though not always and not on a timetable.
How it is worked out: relative strength is the sector index over the NEPSE index. RS-Ratio is 100 plus how many standard deviations the latest relative strength sits from its last 10 sessions. RS-Momentum is 100 plus the same measure taken on the one-session change in RS-Ratio. Each axis is then smoothed with a 3-session exponential average, so a tail shows the drift rather than every wobble. This is the common open approximation; the original RS-Ratio formula is not published. Weeks end on the last session of each trading week, and the current week counts as it stands.
